People across Cambridgeshire are mobilising against all cuts to public services. We are asking everyone to come down to Parker's Piece at noon just days before Cambridgeshire Council votes on a budget that will slash funding to local services, including youth services, public transport, disability support and libraries. It is vital that we show them how many people are opposed to the cuts, which are hitting the most vulnerable in our society the hardest- if you believe in equality and social mobility, come to this demo. It will be followed by a Cambridge General Assembly against the Cuts in McCrum Lecture Theatre (next to the Eagle pub) at roughly 2pm, like the massive Assembly we held in the Old Schools Occupation which brought together students, residents and trade unions to fight or our public services.
